Thom was Festival Director of the ambitious Hancheng Film Festival in China. Today, many events must appeal to both the international film professional and casual cinema visitor. Funding requirements often mean that a further training element should be included in any programme.


His vast experience of increasing skills through informal activities makes him an ideal advisor to any festival with a community or practical component.
